Excellent welcome on arrival to The Roost. Lovely furnishings, great enclosed private patio area, sun trap for naturism. We are a married couple and were made to feel at ease by Charlie. The guests staying on the campsite were extremely friendly, the hot tub was a delight.
Every convenience you would expect from self catering accommodation was duly provided, we found no faults with The Roost in anyway, the property was outstanding value for money and very comfortably furnished to a great standard. Thank you Charlie and Jenny for a fabulous relaxing and enjoyable week away. Hope to see you very soon.

Should you be a naturist then i can truly recommend this site without question, i'm a married woman in my forties and can say you too can feel safe hear sharing the site facilities with people you've never met before.
Camping hear on 1st August this year stopping over for two nights in the yellow yurt, was my first experience all of which i felt my comfort zone was being tested at the time. Call me naive but i'd yet ever been holidaying topless, and the thought of taking all my clothes off never entered my head.
However meeting the proprietors prior helped my personal situation because my father were booking this break with my approval, with the good intentions mum being his one chaperon.
Through no fault of her own i'd to ask my own spouse if he'd object at my parents nomination which meant me accompany my dad for reasons mum couldn't.
Making this commitment wasn't easy with actual knowledge of this particular site being a clothes optional site, knowing i'd shy away from appearing naked in public i'd to also be appreciating this particular weekend were one of the hottest in memory with everyone taking advantage of the weather so no increased pressure their..

I'd the added parental pressure one of which in attendance, as that of living and working locally and being face recognised.

Establishing i were safe and amongst friendly people within this site, the case somehow strengthened compromising my decision to hold onto my own dignity.

Much to my girly naivety i stupidly stressed myself out over experienced female naturist's, having been my first time in this situation i'm enlightened by their dignifying becoming attitude that to be totally bodily shaven is now very much the norm within,

Thankfully hiring a yurt gives slightly more privacy with its segregation to which i assume nudity for some is less difficult, though i were aware of our neighbours eyes i rather not ruin the memories of me hiding behind the fact i were witnessed topless.
Described in detail as being pert up top, severely lowed my personal confidence however looking forward to visiting first weekend in August next year if not before....

Sharing my first nudist experience incognito with my own father has presently been a family talking point that i can say. Nudism may well suit a curtain generation for me it wasn't easy. my mother now so embarrassed wasn't happy on the idea of camping and blatantly said as much after hearing dad and me had visited site and left Charlie a deposit on a weekend break in a yurt meant for the two of them.
My challenge was to enlighten my own hubby that he'd not inherited this weekend break after parental persuasion only me and my dad would be going..

Defining me he said if i took my clothes off to the point of exposure naked i'd to except the consequences.

I'm not saying for one minute i were pressured into taking all my clothes off, however most people on the site were inclined to strip off, which eventually my father evenly matched himself felt it wise i at least remove my bra which i did, only then i embarrassed myself further by the exposure of my haired triangle with my bikini bottom being lowered. However this now history thanks to all those that now share my experience.

We visited with our 2 children aged 2 and 6 , we rented the blue yurt which was fantastic ! It was our first visit to a clothes optional site but Charlie and Jenny made us feel very welcome . There was plenty of gorgeous beaches etc around for us to visit but was also just lovely to chill out in the hot tub with a glass of wine. The toilets and showers were very clean , the pigs , hens and ducks were fab for the kids and all in whole we had a fantastic holiday and will100%be back !

Having stayed in the Tackroom (lovely) we decided to camp the next time. The ground is flat and well maintained, the shower block is equipped with kitchen area with fridge, wine cooler and all is kept lovely and clean. owners Charlie and Jenny go the extra mile with things like washing up liquid, loo roll, emergency tea bags and a kettle. These little things make all the difference. My granddaughter had a fabulous time The site is very safe in my opinion with the added benefit of 2 pigs, ducks and chickens and the resident dogs Tango & Pippa who love to come for a bit of fuss and titbits. Also on site are 4 gorgous yurts, had a peek inside and they look fab with there own private garden. Will definitely be a returning customer

This may be a small site basic as they come but the owners make you feel welcome I say it's not for family's as there is no play ground for kids But if you are new to nudisum & not sure if you want to go nude this is just right for you..
